We offer one hour guided trail rides on 250 acres of scenic river, woods and rolling farmland. Open everyday of the year. Also offered are pony rides, horse drawn wagon and sleigh rides. Day Camps are offered in June and July. These camps are Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm. Students bridle, saddle, brush, groom, feed, riding lessons, and trail ride. End of the week show for the families. New to the ranch is our Ranch Round-up weekends. People stay Friday through Sunday. We provide the food the horses and the entertainment, you provide the tent. It is something that I live my life by, and try to instill this concept in my students as well. I know that there are some methods that work well for some people, and some horses, and others that don't work for either. I am very willing to lend a hand whenever I can with the experience I have attained over the years, as well as learn new lessons whenever I can!!! I remember when I used to train the "Old" way...lots of ground work, ground driving, etc. before getting on a horse--then I learned about round pens and John Lyons and my training concepts changed. I don't follow everything he does, because not everything works for me. What I do is a mixture of training concepts that I have read, seen, learned and experienced--if I was "the all knowing" just think about the things that I wouldn't have learned.....

Formally known as Mordue Quater Horses, the Rocking C Stables has a terrific facility with 30, 10X12 stalls (some oversized), recently re-limed and lined with with 3/4" mats. Horses are fed at approximately 6am, tuned out, fed grass hay at noon and brought back in at around 5:30pm (later in concert with sunset).
