I'm addicted to horses & probably will be my whole life! I own, show & raise Foundation Quarter Horses as well as Shelties. I live in southern Mn., just outside of Mankato on the Double B Ranch. The Barnett & Bores families blended back in `96, which is where I get the"Double B" name for our ranch from.My husband, Kevin Bores has 6 children & I have 3. We also have 4 grandchildren-all boys. I found the need to sell one of my horses to a larger market than my home area during the winter of 98/99, so I decided to create a website dedicated to equine photo ads. I especially wanted to target my home state, Minnesota. I also wanted to offer a service for horse folks that aren't online, but want their ads to be. So here I am, at your disposal. I really enjoy helping to promote horses of all kinds. Many happy customers have reasured me that my service is needed & should continue to offer a special outreach to the internet. With this in mind I have now expanded my website to offer online customers with automation. I will continue to update the site with the lastest in tech advances as they become available. It is my goal to become the best Advertising equine website on the internet!

We are a small family-owned business (living on premises) set back off the road and bordered on 2 sides by large fields. One of which will soon be 10 acres of pasture for school and boarder horses. We offer daily turn out for boarders and 10 x 12 box stalls. We also have 6 x 12 stalls for ponies. Horses are grained and hayed morning and night. They have access to fresh water from automatic waterers in the paddocks. There is a 60 x 110 indoor arena with heated viewing room and an 80 x 145 outdoor arena with a tree-lined area to sit under. Tack rooms are heated and we have an outside wash area with hot water available. We take pride in the condition and treatment of our school horses and treat boarder horses the same. We teach Western, English, Jumping and Driving. Lessons include grooming and saddling (or harnessing) as well as horse care. We believe that a rider should know how to do it all, not just get on a tacked horse and go. Several horses, ponies and miniatures are available for partial lease (to students). Stop by and visit us to see for yourself what we are all about or take a look at our website at doublelequestrian.com. Students horses get first consideration for boarding or ones that are in training.

Additional Special Information: Manager is a 4-H leader with the Richmond/Spring Grove Clover Rockets Equestrians club, which is a very active horse group. She is a certified instructor from Potomac Horse Center in Maryland and has studied under a number of other instructors as well. She incorporates some Natural Horsemanship techniques into her training.
Special activities include some trail rides, parade participation, drill team workouts and showing. The trail rides are usually benefit rides that we go to as a group, though we can haul to any number of trails (Chain of Lakes, Glacial Park, Bong, Kettle Moraine to name a few). Since 1999, we have ridden in many parades including the Antioch Easter, Woodstock Memorial Day, Harvard Milk Days, Spring Grove July 4th, McHenry Fiesta Days, Richmond Round-up, Antioch Xmas (day after Thanksgiving) and now the Chicago Jingle Elf on Thanksgiving morning (2002, 2003 and 2004).
We hold our own drill team presentation each summer and game day each fall for all students. A number of our young riders have attended local 4-H and open shows on our horses or their own. We also have our own Miniature Horse Driving Drill Team that performed at the 2003 and 2004 Midwest Horse Fair in Madison and has been accepted to do so again in 2005. Call Linda if you have an interest in being a part of this special drill team.
