Childrens Ranch is a free equestrian facility open to the public and to Equestrain Organizations. We are a nonprofit organization, helping to build equestrian interest in the area. We provide a free facility for the public and equestrain organizations that mostly consists of horseback riding. We provide several programs for all levels of experience with horses from Pilgrim Pony Rides, CR Drill Team, Cattle Round-Up Competitions to camping trips. Mostly we encourage other groups to take advantage of the current 135'X 340' outdoor arena, 72 stalls and over 100 miles of trails and all the ranch has to offer. A variety of groups have been using the Childrens Ranch over the years . They use the facility free, and contine to put on successful sevents year after year. These events include Bullriding, Upper Midwest Bucksin Horse Association Chow and Team Penning Competitions. We continue to grow and plan to put up and indoor pavillion/arena, FREE for the public and clubs to use, offering year round events.

I am accepting a limited number of outside horses for training in a one on one
atmosphere. I specialize in rehabilitating abused (or “tough”) horses and backing
colts that have not yet been ridden. We would like to have the horse at least
90 days. We do not believe in 30 day miracles. You are always welcome to come
watch the horse being worked. After 60 days we would like you on the horse,
taking lessons or trail riding with 2 other riders. If your horse just is not
working out for you we will help you place it and help you find a horse more
suitable to your needs. E-Mail me for more information or stop by our web site!

Our mission at Country Care Stables is to teach young and old the pleasure and enjoyment our equine friends have to offer. We offer Western Riding lessons to students of all ages. Our Riding Instructor, Tricia Miles, not only focuses on improving riding ability, but teaches our students the proper care of horses. We provide a safe and comfortable atmosphere for our all our boarders. My husband Tim is the one who trains. He works with the horses at their own pace, as every young horse learns differently. Although his training career is just beginning, he has been very successful with all the horses he has worked with. We have 11 12x12 box stalls in a heated barn (radiant floor heat, as not to dry out the membranes with forced air.) Our indoor arena is 100x50 and our Outdoor arena is 160x80. We have taken every safety precaution to make our stables secure and comfortable for all of our riders.
